二语习得中的认知负荷研究述评

Cognitive Load in Second Language Acquisition

认知负荷是与工作记忆相关的概念,直接针对学习者端口发生的状态,因而在学习任务设计层面具有直接性、指导性和操作性。虽然近年出现了在认知负荷理论框架下对二语习得中的输入、输出环节的相关研究,但是对语言学习任务设计研究尚不透彻,由于概念上内在认知负荷、外在认知负荷和相关认知负荷相互关联,方法上缺少直接测量和分类测量,暂时造成了研究结果在解释和应用上的局限性。

Cognitive load,a concept related with working memory,reveals learners’status directly,and thus is quite informative for language learning tasks.Efforts can be seen in recent years into investigating features and learning outcomes of input and output tasks within the framework of Cognitive Load Theory.Major limitations with the existing studies can be found with lack of direct and accurate measurement of intrinsic,extraneous,germane cognitive load,since they share the same cognitive resource.
