Effects of MgO on Microstructure and Properties of Nb-22.5Cr Alloy

摘要 采用机械合金化+热压方式制备了xMgO/Nb-22.5Cr(x=0,0.06,0.12,0.24,0.36,摩尔分数/%)合金,研究了MgO对合金组织及性能的影响。结果表明,MgO的添加并未对合金的物相产生明显影响,合金的主要物相仍由Nb固溶体相和NbCr2相组成。适量MgO的添加,不仅能提高合金的强度,同时还提高了合金的塑、韧性,0.12MgO/Nb-22.5Cr合金的室温抗压强度和塑性应变分别为3 258 MPa和18%,相比于Nb-22.5Cr合金提高了18%和227%。 xMgO/Nb-22.5 Cr(x=0, 0.06, 0.12, 0.24, 0.36,in atomic fraction) alloys were prepared by mechanical alloying and hot pressing. The effects of MgO on microstructures and properties of Nb-22.5 Cr alloy were investigated. The results show that the phase constituent of Nb-22.5 Cr alloy has the absence of obvious change by adding MgO, which mainly consists of Nb solid solution and NbCr2.The strength, plasticity and toughness of Nb-22.5 Cr alloy can be improved by adding proper amount of MgO. The room-temperature compressive strength and plastic strain of 0.12 MgO/Nb-22.5 Cr reach up to 3 258 MPa and 18%,increased by 18% and 227% compared to those of Nb-22.5 Cr alloy, respectively.
