新工科背景下地方院校材料化学专业应用型人才培养的探索与实践

Exploration and Practice of Applied Talents Training for Material Chemistry Specialty Under the New Engineering Background in Local Colleges

相对于传统的工科人才,新工科以新兴产业和新经济为背景,需要的是工程实践能力强、创新能力强、具备国际竞争力的高素质复合型人才。本文从当前社会发展对应用型人才的需求出发,首先对湖南人文科技学院材料化学专业的专业定位、历史沿革和特色优势进行了简要介绍,然后对深化专业综合改革、加强师资队伍和基层教学组织建设、加强专业教学质量保障体系建设等方面的主要举措和成效进行了探索实践,期望为其他地方院校开展应用型人才培养改革提供参考。

Compared with traditional engineering talents,the new engineering disciplines are based on emerging industries and new economies.What is needed are high-quality composite talents with strong engineering practice ability,innovative ability,and international competitiveness.This article starts from the current social development demand for application-oriented talents.First,the professional positioning,historical evolution,and characteristic advantages are briefly introduced taking the material chemistry specialty of Hunan University of Humanitiess,Science and Technology as an example.Then the major measures and effects of deepening the comprehensive professional reform,strengthening the construction of teaching staff and grass-roots teaching organizations,and strengthening the construction of professional teaching quality guarantee system are explored and practiced.It is expected to provide a reference for other local colleges to carry out reforms in the training of applied talents.
