安史之乱后的中唐,逆建唐以来逐渐流行的女性袒胸之风,而出现了一种专遮胸乳的女性内衣,名为诃子。服饰上的变化,实际上成为了"礼"与"非礼"的体现,这与安史乱后唐廷边疆危机、藩镇割据导致的"夷夏之防"转严以及中唐儒学复兴运动的社会历史背景密切相关。

In fact, the change of dress has become the embodiment of propriety and non-propriety. This is closely related to the crisis of Tang’s frontier after the Anshi Rebellion, the strict defense of YiXia caused by the separation of vassal regime, and the social and historical background of Confucian revival movement in the middle Tang Dynasty.
