摘要
周敦颐虽然在《爱莲说》中自期为"莲",而与陶渊明的"菊"有所区别,但在精神上却是与陶渊明相通的。仕宦三十余年,周敦颐内心一直怀着归隐的愿望,时人也把他比作陶渊明。只是因为缺乏"三径之资",周敦颐才选择了"吏隐"生活。周敦颐用"莲出淤泥而不染"的品格宣示自己的"吏隐"更是一种"泥隐",从而表达他不同于"吏隐"者的理想和远追陶渊明而不能的心迹。所以,莲更多的是对菊的继承和与牡丹的区别。
Although Zhou Dunyi called himself“Lotus”in his Loving Lotus,which was different from Tao Yuanming’s“Chrysanthemum”,he was connected with Tao Yuanming in spirit.After more than 30 years of official career,Zhou Dunyi always cherished the desire to return to seclusion,and people compared him to Tao Yuanming.Only because of the lack of money,Zhou Dunyi chose to live in seclusion as an official.Zhou Dunyi used lotus to show his character so as to express his ideal and his mind which could not catch up with Tao Yuanming.Therefore,lotus is more about the inheritance of chrysanthemum and the difference against peony.
