The Palace Museum has a collection of 8 letters written by Weng Tonghe to Wu Bingxiang and Wu Shurong in Yizheng.The contents of these letters mainly reflect the close relationship between Weng Tonghe and Wu’s family in Yizheng.These letters have the reference value to the study of the communication between scholar-bureaucrats and the social life in the regions of Jiangsu and Zhejiang during the late Qing Dynasty.
