From “Two Civilizations” to “Five-in-one”: theoretical sublimation and practical progress of the relationship between man and nature

中华人民共和国成立70年来,伴随着中国特色社会主义事业总体布局的丰富完善,社会主义文明经历了从"两个文明"协调发展期到"三位一体"持续发展期、"四位一体"科学发展期再到"五位一体"和谐共生期的系统化发展历程。在统筹兼顾思想的指导下,中国共产党始终坚持人口、资源、环境与经济社会协同发展,不断推进人与自然关系理论升华和实践进展。在整个推进中,我国不仅从"历史-理论-现实"三重维度上实现了对人与自然关系的全方位把握,而且推进了人与自然关系进化为文明的序列和范畴,不断彰显社会主义生态文明的道路自信、理论自信、制度自信和文化自信。

Over the past 70 years since the foundation of the People’s Republic of China, the socialist civilization has evolved from the coordinated development of "Two Civilizations" to the systematic development of "Five-in-one". In this process,under the guidance of thinking of making all plan and taking overall into consideration, the CPC has always adhered to the coordinated development of population, resources and environment with the economy and society. From the harmonious development period of " Two Civilizations" to the sustainable development period of " Three-in-one" to the scientific development period of "Four-in-one" to the harmonious coexistence period of "Five-in-one", the theoretical sublimation and practical progress of the relationship between man and nature are constantly promoted. In this promoting progress, through the evolution of the relationship between man and nature into the sequence and category of civilization, China has realized the comprehensive grasp of the relationship between man and nature from " history, theory and reality ", and constantly demonstrated the confidence in the path, theory, system and culture of Chinese ecological civilization and socialism with Chinese characteristics.
