Nowadays China has seen a surging trend of using camps as emerging educational sites outside schools and homes.Emphasizing the site-specific experience of embracing nature and social growth achieved through team collaboration,camps can play a unique role in youth education.The Raleigh Expedition encourages the youth to get out of their comfort zones and go deep into the underdeveloped regions and natural wilderness,enabling them to learn and grow through the charity service,field activity and multi-faceted collaboration.The project is located in Pingqiao Village,Zhenfeng County,Southwest Guizhou Autonomous Prefecture,Guizhou Province,about three hours’drive from Guiyang.
