The COVID-19 epidemic has had a series of negative effects on all professions and trades in China.Based on statistical data of highway passenger and freight transport in Suqian City,the conclusion can be made that the epidemic has serious negative impacts on highway freight transport,long-distance passenger transport,bus and taxi.According to the analysis of the actual situation,it is believed that the affecting factors of highway passenger and freight transport during the epidemic mainly include the decline in business volume and the increase in epidemic prevention costs,and the decline in the freight volume caused by the epidemic is particularly serious.The epidemic effect is not only short-term,but also affect the highway passenger and freight transport all the year.The governments and enterprises should unite to overcome the difficulties,such as the government's support policies and the enterprises'active response measures.
