模糊容忍度对二语词汇推理加工的影响

The Effects of Tolerance of Ambiguity on L2 Lexical Inferencing Processing

二语词汇推理加工是指学习者利用自身已有知识推理未知词汇的过程。研究学习者的阅读模糊容忍度对二语词汇推理加工的影响发现:英语专业大学生的模糊容忍度处于中等水平,词汇推理加工能力偏弱;模糊容忍度对其词汇推理加工能力存在显著影响;在使用知识来源的次数和质量上,模糊容忍度高者均高于模糊容忍度低者。

L2 lexical inferencing processing refers to the process in which learners use their existing knowledge to infer unknown words.This study mainly analyses the influence of learners'reading tolerance of ambiguity on L2 lexical inferencing processing.The study reveals that English majors'reading tolerance of ambiguity is at a moderate level,and their lexical inferencing processing ability is at a low level.Reading tolerance of ambiguity has a significant effect on lexical inferencing processing ability.In terms of the using frequency and quality of knowledge source,those with high level of tolerance of ambiguity are higher and better than those with low level.
