This paper mainly introduces the general situation of the air conditioning and ventilation engineering design for the auditorium of a middle school in Chongqing,including design criteria,cooling and heating load of air conditioner,selection of cold and heat sources,air conditioning system,smoke control system,air distribution,energy saving and automatic control,noise reduction,isolation treatment,etc.Given the particularity of school auditorium,the characteristics and applicable conditions of air distribution form are emphatically analyzed.
