This paper discusses some of Mr.Li Guangxin's views on the writing of geotechnical engineering papers,who believes that in addition to the generally accepted writing format,a paper is acceptable as long as it displays a scientific attitude and follows the principles of being academic and seeking truth from facts.Based on this basic understanding,the author expressed his own views on specific writing issues such as whether a language can be used,what attitude should be adopted,whether the topic needs to be vivid,and how to understand correctness.
