Complex ship mechanical and electrical equipment generally consists of many components. The equipment maintenance cost is an important part of equipment life cycle cost. By analyzing the influence of the reliability of different parts on the maintenance cost of equipment,this paper proposes a method to determine the key components of equipment according to the maintenance cost analysis. Improving the reliability of key components can significantly reduce the maintenance cost of equipment.
