On Translation Teaching in College English Class

翻译教学在大学英语教学中占着举足轻重的作用。面对社会的现实要求和学生的学习需求,应该对现有教材进行开发利用,把翻译技巧理论溶入到现有教材、教参当中,从而进一步有机结合到大学英语课堂上。让学生在学习课文的同时,就掌握到翻译技巧理论。从翻译的视角来读解课文,对比译文,这样学生能有效、生动的掌握到翻译理论和技巧,为自己的翻译实践立下理论基础,并且也能够进一步加深对所学课文的理解。

Translation teaching plays an important role in College English teaching.In the face of the reality of society and the learning needs of students,we should develop and utilize the existing teaching materials,and integrate the theory of translation skills into the existing teaching materials and teaching participants,so as to further integrate it into the College English classroom.Let students master the theory of translation skills while learning the text.From the perspective of translation,reading and interpreting the text and comparing the translation,so that students can effectively and vividly grasp the translation theory and skills,lay a theoretical foundation for their own translation practice,and further deepen the understanding of the text.
