农林高职英语教师跨文化教学的误区与破解路径

Intercultural Teachingin Agricultural and Forestry Higher Vocational Colleges:The Misunderstanding of English Teachers and It’s Solution Path

农林产业国际化发展对具有跨文化交际能力的技能应用人才需求不断增大,探究高职英语教师自身的跨文化素养与教学误区及其破解路径具有特别重要的时代意义。针对我国农林高职院校英语教师在跨文化教学方面普遍存在的重语言工具轻人文教育、重西方文化轻本土文化、重语言理论轻实践应用、重课堂教学轻理论研究等误区问题,提出了以下破解对策:转变语言教学理念,强化跨文化教育意识;充实文化教学内容,注重语用能力的培养;创新课堂教学方式,拓宽跨文化交际渠道;加强教学实践训练,提升教师跨文化能力。

International development of agriculture and forestry industry needs more and more skills applied talents with intercultural communication competence.It is of great significance to explore English teachers’intercultural literacy,teaching misunderstanding,and it’s solution path in agricultural and forestry higher vocational colleges.In view of the common misunderstandings in cross-cultural teaching,such as the emphasis on language tools over humanistic education,the emphasis on western culture over local culture,the emphasis on language theory over language practice,and the emphasis on classroom teaching over theoretical research,etc.It is suggested that the following solution path should be taken:changing the language teaching concept to strengthen the awareness of intercultural education;enriching the content of cultural teaching to pay attention to the cultivation of pragmatic competence;innovating classroom teaching methods to broaden the channels of intercultural communication;strengthening teaching practice training to improve teachers’intercultural competence.
