In My Brilliant Career,Sybylla’s rejection of marriage,construction of spiritual life and subversion of the female character expected by men are beneficial explorations of Miles Franklin on the construction of female subjectivity discourse.However,due to the discourse context at that time,the subjectivity construction female discourse,which still can not get rid of the shackles of male strong culture,can only survive in the cracks.Therefore,the status of female writers and the dilemma of female writing are still problems worthy of deep consideration.
