摘要
文化记忆研究在文学、历史、哲学、心理学、神经认知科学等众多领域的跨学科兴盛,根源于文化记忆的符号性。皮尔士三元符号结构所具备的动态性和开放性,使得它比索绪尔语言符号模式更适合于文化记忆符号机制的探索。然而,当下所流行的皮尔士符号结构图作为分析框架还可以得到进一步完善。本文将以文化记忆问题为切入点,反向考察该框架的适切程度,并对其进行必要调整,使其更为精确地解释文化记忆现象。在此基础上,本文从文化记忆要素的制约关系、文化记忆“符号链”、记忆形象分类、核心概念“象征”和文化记忆的符号性感知等关键角度切入,对文化记忆的符号机制进行深度剖析,为后期的进一步研究打下基础。
The interdisciplinary prominence of cultural memory studies in such fields as literature,history,philosophy,psychology and neurosciences is rooted in the semioticity of cultural memory.The triadic Peircean sign model,with its dynamic and open properties,is more suitable than the Saussurean linguistic sign model for the inquiry of the semiotic mechanism of cultural memory.However,the prevalent configuration of the Peircean triad can be further improved.The present paper reappraises the pertinence of this analytical framework and makes the necessary adjustments to the framework,giving it more precise explanatory power for cultural memory studies.It is on this basis that the present paper gives critical analyses of such issues as the relations of the elements of cultural memory,the“semiotic chain”of cultural memory,the typology of memory figures,the symbol as the core concept in cultural memory,and the semiotic perception of cultural memory.These analyses are intended to lay the foundation for future studies.
