联想似乎总是被外界"误读"。"疫情期间,大多数人都宅在家,远程办公、网上教育甚至娱乐等极度高速增长,市场对PC(个人电脑)的需求增长非常快。"杨元庆看起来心情不错,"我觉得疫情会带动PC一波新的增长行情。"这对联想来说是个好信号。但外界却把PC当作互联网时代的产物。以至于在参加《中国企业家》杂志社35周年大型对话节目"何问西东"。与《中国企业家》杂志社社长何振红对话时,杨元庆反复强调,"PC依然会很有前途。"

If you stubbornly think that Lenovo is the world’s largest PC company,it is a misunderstanding.“We haven’t fixed ourselves on the PC for a long time.”For the future of Lenovo,Yang Yuanqing is still full of confidence:“Our current strategy does not rely on mobile phones,it is a completely new and more promising development strategy.We determined around intelligence 43S5 strategy,so this(mobile phone business is too unsuccessful)has nothing to do with it.The company is more like a long-distance race.It’s normal to go up and down for a while.”
