摘要 文章针对课程教学存在的知识灌输型传统教学模式、教学方法比较单一落后等问题,尝试探讨如何运用比较教学法、时政案例教学法及辩论法将社会主义核心价值观及中国优秀传统文化融入高职《英语国家概况》课程教学中,让抽象的政治理论变得更具体、直观、形象,从而增强学生的学习兴趣与学习效率,发挥该课程的育人功能,提升高职院校英语专业人才的培养质量。 Based on the problems that the teaching of the course still follows the teaching mode of knowledge infusion,and the teaching methods are still relatively single and backward,such as scripted teaching and teachers talking in one voice,this paper attempts to explore how to integrate the socialist core values and the excellent traditional Chinese culture into the teaching of the English-speaking countries in higher vocational colleges by using the comparative teaching method,the case teaching method of current politics and the debating meth⁃od,so as to make the abstract political theory more concrete,intuitive and vivid,thus enhancing the students'learning interest and learning efficiency,exerting the educational function of the course,and improving the quality of English talents training in higher vocational colleges.
