The main blower is a piece of critical rotating equipment in the sulphuric acid,and hence the measurement of its flow parameters is critical to the operation of the plant.The features and requirements for measurement of the main blower flow in the sulphuric acid plant are analyzed,the working principle and installation requirements for the annubar flowmeter,and the installation highlights for the accompanying pressure transmitter are described,as well as the performance of the annubar flowmeter in the main blower of the sulphuric acid plant.It is concluded that the annubar flowmeter offers fea⁃tures including measurement stability,low pressure low,low cost,easy installation,and excellent repeatability.
