How to adhere to the important principles of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics,deepen supply-side structural reform and promote the transformation of old and new growth drivers is a major practical issue in China’s implementation of the new development concept and promotion of high-quality development.From the perspective of the development of economic theory,how to explore the mechanism design and practice approach for the transformation of development momentum according to the changes in economic operation conditions is a central issue in the history of political and economic theory.The practical choice for mechanism and path for promoting high-quality development by replacing the old growth drivers with the new ones should be based on the principle of dialectical relations between productive forces and productive relations in Marxist political economy and socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics,guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialist Economy with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and combined with the theory of technology,system and fair driving force of economic growth to unify the analysis of instrumental rationality and the intrinsic humanistic value rationality and the analysis of the supply-side driving force and the demand-side driving force and to introduce the two major factors--institution and structure——into the analysis system of driving forces for promoting high-quality development.
