The establishment of a new China through consultation and the People’s Political Consultative Conference(CPPCC)is not an isolated and static historic event.instead,it is not only the natural result of the fully mature Chinese revolution and the exemplary form of people’s democracy,but also a systematic political process that started the development of democratic politics in China with epoch-making significance.This paper studies the political implications of establishment a new China through consultation and the CPPCC,and discusses the key element,essential characteristics and the inevitable development trend of China’s democratic political development path from the historical practice of modern times.We should break away from the concept and model of“western centrism”,and use dialectical materialism and historical materialism to study the vivid and rich ideas and practices of consultation and cooperation in the process of founding a new China through consultation and the CPPCC,so as to contribute Chinese wisdom and Chinese solutions to the political civilization of the world.
