The Deployment of Australian Maritime Security Strategy in South Pacific and China’s Strategic Options

澳大利亚长期以来一直是南太平洋地区的主导力量,并且具有相当的影响力。冷战后,尤其是在一些地区危机威胁到澳大利亚国家海洋安全战略利益的时期,澳大利亚始终在该地区保持着相对较为密集的参与。近年来,澳大利亚政府相继发布2013年、2016年国防白皮书和2017年外交政策白皮书,其中都一致认为南太平洋地区对澳大利亚具有重要的海洋安全战略意义。澳大利亚在近期及将来一段可预见的时期,在海洋安全战略部署方面都会更加聚焦于该地区。

Australia had been the dominant and influential force in South Pacific in a long period.After the Cold War,Australia still exists in this region even when its maritime security strategy interests were threatened.During the 2010 s,the Australian government issued Defence White Paper in 2013 and 2016 and Foreign Policy White Paper in 2017.All of these documents acknowledge the significance of South Pacific region in Australia’s Maritime security strategy.Australia will continue to focus more on the strategic deployment of maritime security in this region in near and foreseeable future.
