明清时期河西水稻种植考略

A Study on Hexi Rice Cultivation in Ming And Qing Dynasty

河西作为中国古代北方重要的经济区,自汉以来传统的灌溉农业得到持续发展,至唐代河西部分地区已有水稻种植的记载。明清时期河西水稻种植渐成规模,产量可观,成为河西旱作农业的重要补充,对河西经济社会产生了重要的影响。

In ancient northern China,Hexi(northwest China)is an important economy zone.Since Han dynasty,the traditional irrigation agriculture has been unremittingly developed.Until Tang dynasty,there has been some records about rice cultivation in some areas of Hexi.During Ming and Qing dynasty,rice cultivation gradually developed to a certain degree with considerable output,as a significant supplement to dry farming in Hexi,and exerted great importance to the economy of Hexi.
