年龄与幸福有关吗?——基于CGSS2015年数据的实证分析

Is the Age of Residents Related to Happiness?——A Study Based on the Empirical Analysis of CGSS2015 Data

经济发展和政府决策的最终归宿都是提升人民福祉。利用CGSS2015年调查数据,借助有序Logit模型重点探讨年龄与幸福感的关系。经过稳健性检验后,发现无论是城镇居民还是农村居民,年龄与幸福感都呈U型曲线关系。分样本分析显示,城乡居民在教育和收入对幸福感的影响效应上存在异质性,受教育能显著提升城市居民的幸福感,但对农村居民的幸福感无显著性影响;收入对城市居民的幸福感无显著性影响,却能正向促进农村居民的幸福感。为提升居民幸福感,文章最后根据实证分析结果从缩小城乡收入差距等方面提出相应政策建议。

The goal of economic development and government decision-making is to increase people’s happiness.Using Chinese General Social Survey(CGSS)2015 survey data,this paper studies the relationship between age and happiness with the help of Ordered Logit Model.After the robustness test,the results show that the relationship between age and happiness of both urban and rural residents is a U-shaped structure.Sub-sample analysis shows that differences exist in the effect of education and income on happiness of urban and rural residents.Education can significantly improve the happiness of urban residents,but has no significant impact on rural residents.Income has no significant impact on the happiness of urban residents,but can positively promote the happiness of rural residents.In order to enhance happiness of residents.This paper finally puts forward some policy recommendations based on the empirical analysis.
