摘要 文化是一个民族的灵魂。坚定中国文化自信,是事关民族精神传承发展的大问题。以中国外语教育史的动态变迁为视角,探讨中国文化自信发展的历史过程,在不同的外语教育发展阶段具有不同的历史意义。特别是从近代外国人在华办学对中国进行一系列的文化侵略,到民国时期的外语教育以及五四运动爆发给全国人民带来的文化觉醒;从新中国成立后外语教育的务实精神到21世纪高等外语教育改革及新举措的全面实施,充分体现了中国的文化自信。以外语教育史为研究视角,清晰构建"古为今用""洋为中用"的文化观,正确处理中华民族文化与外来文化的关系,树立中国文化自信的主体意识,对构建人类命运共同体具有积极的现实意义。 Culture is the spirit of a nation.To strengthen confidence in Chinese culture is a major issue concerning the inheritance and development of the national spirit.The development of Chinese cultural self-confidence and the historical significance of foreign language education in different stages are explored herein according to the dynamic changes of foreign language education in China,including the cultural invasion through school running by foreigners,foreign language education in the period of Republic of China,cultural awakening by May 4th Movement,the practical spirit of education after the founding of New China,and the implementation of educational reforms and measures in the 21st century.From the perspective of history of foreign education,it will be of practical significance to the construction of a shared human cultural community by establishing the concepts of"making the past serve the present and the foreign serve China",handling correctly the relationship between Chinese culture and foreign culture,and building the self-confident subjectivity of Chinese culture.
