新时期以来,西部纪实文学发展迅速,成绩显著,其中王宗仁是最有代表性的作家,因为:其一,他的创作时间最长,作品数量最多;其二,其创作主要反映西部的历史、现实与风土人情尤其是青藏高原的军营生活,是执著"西部"或"西部"题材创作最集中的作家之一;其三,其创作多次在全国获奖,影响广泛;其四,尤为重要的是,其创作特色鲜明,风格独特,成就显著,具有较深刻的文学、美学与社会意义。

Wang Zongren is the best representative writer of contemporary western non-fiction literature in China.The first reason is that he devotes the longest time to creation and produces the largest number of works.The second is that his works mainly reflect the history,reality and local conditions and customs of the west,especially the barracks life on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.Thirdly,it is because his creation has won many awards in the country and has wide influence.Fourthly,it is because it has distinctive features,unique style,remarkable achievements and profound literary,aesthetic and social significance.
