摘要
反转录病毒和机会感染会议(CROI)是艾滋病及机会性感染领域的顶尖会议,为全球艾滋病的预防、治疗和治愈提供了一个高水平的学术交流平台。近年来,研究者致力于通过各种方法实现艾滋病功能性治愈。功能性治愈意味着艾滋病病毒(HIV)感染者接受一定时长的治疗后最大限度地抑制HIV复制,同时将HIV储存库减少至可控程度,保证机体免疫功能维持正常水平。2019年CROI会议中呈现了许多令人瞩目的实现HIV储存库清除及功能性治愈的研究进展,本文对此进行总结报道。
The Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections(CROI) brings together top basic, translational, and clinical researchers around the world to share the latest studies, important developments, and best research methods in the ongoing battle against HIV/AIDS and related infectious diseases. In recent years, Researchers are committed to achieve functional cure for HIV. Functional cure means that HIV-infected people receive cART for a period to maximize the inhibition of HIV replication, and reduce the HIV reservoir to a low level to ensure that the immune function remains at a normal level. At the CROI 2019, there were many remarkable advances reported in HIV eradication and HIV functional cure, which we reviewed here.
