Guo Moruo's Exploration of Marxism in China

马克思主义中国化不仅是中国共产党人的理论创造,而且是知识界的一种选择。郭沫若以自由知识分子的身份,曾先后发表《马克思进文庙》和《中国古代社会研究》。前者以马克思与孔子"对话"的方式,用寓言的形式阐释了中国古代大同思想与共产主义的一致性;后者用唯物史观分析中国古代社会,提出了中国封建社会长期存在的问题。这既为马克思主义与中国传统文化的贯通扫清了障碍,又为新民主主义革命理论的形成提供了必要前提。

Sinicization of Marxism is not only the theoretical creation of the Chinese Communists,but also a choice of the intellectu⁃al world.As a free intellectual,Guo Moruo published two articles--“Marxism into the Confucian Temple”and“Research on An⁃cient Chinese Society”successively.The former used a“dialogue”between Marx and Confucius to explain the consistency of an⁃cient Chinese Great Harmony thought and communism in the form of fables;the latter used the historical materialism to analyze an⁃cient Chinese society and raised long-standing problems in Chinese feudal society.This not only cleared the obstacles for the inte⁃gration of Marxism and Chinese traditional culture,but also provided the necessary premise for the formation of the new democratic revolutionary theory.
