Multi-dimensions and Mutual Construction:Study on the Dongba Myths in the Perspective of Iconology:On the Image of Dingbashiluo

神话是解读图像的脚注文本,图像是神话的意义载体,二者皆受到自然环境、文化生境、意义空间所制约。丁巴什罗图像属于图像叙事文本,它与丁巴什罗相关的口头传统、丁巴什罗相关的神话故事、东巴舞蹈、东巴音乐构成了东巴文化的互文本。所以,只有把图像与神话置于历史范畴下的不同时间、空间、文化传统、意义空间里,才能更准确、深刻地理解图像所蕴含的文化内涵与象征意义,还原图像得以产生与发展的历史背景与文化情境。

Myth is a footnote of images and images is the meaning carrier of myth,two of which are restricted by natural environment,cultural context and meaning space. The image of Dingbashiluo belongs to image narrative text,and it constitutes Dongba cultural intertextuality with Dongba oral tradition,sutra mythological story,Dongba dance,and Dongba music. Therefore,it is possible to understand the cultural connotation and symbolic meanings precisely and deeply,as well as restoring the historical background and cultural context in which the images originate and develop from,by positioning images and myths into the historical times,spaces,cultural traditions and meaningful spaces.
