海南岛淡水硅藻中国新记录

New records of freshwater diatoms(Bacillariophyta)from Hainan Island,south of China

报道了采自我国海南岛的淡水硅藻4个分类单位,分别为:姐妹肋缝藻(Frustulia soror Graeff&Kociolek)、盘状交叉藻钝圆变种(Decussiphycus placenta var.obtusus(Meister)Guiry&Gandhi)、扭曲棒杆藻(Rhopalodia contorta Hustedt)、光明肋缝藻(Frustulia splendida Hustedt),其中,前3个为中国新记录。除姐妹肋缝藻外,其余3个因报道年代较早,缺乏电镜资料。本研究利用光学显微镜(LM)及扫描电镜(SEM)对这些种类进行了观察,对其形态特征和生境特点进行了详细描述,补充了这些种类的形态学及地理分布信息。

In this paper,four taxa are reported from Hainan Island,south of China,including Frustulia soror Graeff&Kociolek,Decussiphycus placenta var.obtusus(Meister)Guiry&Gandhi,Rhopalodia contorta Hustedt,and Frustulia splendida Hustedt.Among these taxa,the first three are new records to China.Except for Frustulia soror,the other three taxa lack scanning electron microscopy(SEM)data as they were reported decades ago.In this research,light microscopy(LM)and SEM were used to observe these taxa,with detailed morphological descriptions and habitat characters given.Important morphological and biogeographical data on these species were also provided.
