Inheritance and Innovation of Literary Expositor of Western Regions from Literary Expositor

《西域尔雅》作者自序"依《尔雅》十九篇之例"著此书。使用文献研究法,对比发现:在编排和训释两方面,《西域尔雅》继承了《尔雅》一书的体例。然而,《西域尔雅》作为一本多语种分类辞书,用汉字音译诸种民族语,以语义关系系连全篇,又呈现出雅类辞书之外的特点,具有创新性,这一"双语训释"的文本有其独特的研究价值。

The author of Literary Expositor of Western Regions wrote in his preface that he wrote this book“according to the examples of the style of Literary Expositor”.By using the method of literature research,it is found that in the two aspects of compilation and interpretation,Literary Expositor of Western Regions has inherited the style of Literary Expositor.However,as a multi-lingual classified lexicographical work,Literary Expositor of Western Regions has used Chinese characters to transliterate all kinds of minority languages,which links the whole text with semantic relations,and presents special features,whose innovation is of great research value.
