清代《南部档案》中的土地量词考释

The Textual Research of Land Quantifiers in Nanbu Archives of the Qing Dynasty

《南部档案》中有大量的土地纠纷案件,颇能反映出该县的人地矛盾。档案显示,当时官、民常用不同的土地量词。有的量词全国很多地方普遍使用,有的量词主要在南部县域使用,这可能与该县独特的地理环境,地形地貌密切相关。通过考释《南部档案》中的土地量词,不仅揭示出官方对民间实际控制的无力,使得不同地方在计量方面各显神通,而且反映出基层社会的复杂性、多歧性、区域性特征。

There are a large number of land disputes cases in Nanbu Archives,which can reflect the contradictions between people and land in the county.Based on the land dispute cases,we find that officials and people then used to use different land quantifiers.Some quantifiers are commonly used in many parts of the country,while others are mainly used in Nanbu county.This may be related to the county’s unique geographical environment,topography and landform.The textual research of some land quantifiers in Nanbu Archives reveals the official’s inability to control the people so that people in different places have their own ways of measuring things.It also reflects the complexity,diversity,and regional characteristics of the grass-roots society in the Qing dynasty.
