For a long time,the construction of the Rogun hydropower station in Tajikistan has aroused many controversies in Central Asia,and the construction process has been tortuous and difficult.The construction of the Rogun hydropower plant has always been a matter of concern for the international community.This article discusses the impact of the construction of the Rogun hydropower plant on the internal and external affairs of Tajikistan,the development of cooperation and integration in the Central Asian region and the participation of extraterritorial countries in Central Asian affairs.The report examines the impact of the construction of the Rogun hydropower plant on the self-reliance of the Central Asian countries in their national socioeconomic development,and will have a broad demonstration effect which will provide a reference for the Central Asian countries to seek national development and regional cooperation exchanges.
