摘要
体演文化教学法立足于中国传统儒家“知行合一”的教育思想,融合了西方认知学、文化学与表演学的学科知识,通过身临其境的“体演”活动以及周密的课程设计,将语言教学与文化教学紧密结合,使语言学习者不仅能掌握语言技能,而且能获取跨文化交际能力,从而有效并得体地与母语者交流。体演文化教学法大有取代盛行多年的交际功能法之势,有望成为外语教学法领域的新标杆。本文概述了体演文化教学法的学术渊源、核心概念与课程设计。
The Performed Culture Approach is a unique language learning and teaching philosophy that is based on the Confucian educational thought of“knowledge and action is but one”and drawn from the fi elds of cognitive studies,cultural studies,and performance studies.Through meticulously executed curriculum design as well as“performances”that put learners in authentic linguistic and cultural contexts,this pedagogical approach successfully integrates language instruction and culture instruction,enabling learners to effectively communicate with native speakers in culturally appropriate ways.It is positioned to take over the Communicative Approach as a new paradigm in the fi eld of foreign language education.This article offers a brief introduction to the intellectual underpinnings,core concepts,and curriculum design of the Performed Culture Approach.
