新时代“美好生活”的内蕴探赜——基于亚里士多德伦理学的思考

Study of Connotations of“Good Life”in the New Era Based on Aristotle’s Ethics

“美好生活”是新时代的一个核心话题,对“美好生活”的向往是基于我国繁荣富强与社会稳定和谐现状的一种必然选择,然而对美好生活内涵的界定却因或存而不论或泛泛而谈而依然模糊。亚里士多德《尼各马可伦理学》着力探讨了美德与幸福的内在关联,建设性地提出实践智慧的理论,创造性地联结人类智慧与人类实践,延展性地思虑美好生活的内蕴以及人类如何生活得更好。以中国人民的道德实践和中华民族的传统美德为根基,立足于现实国情,借鉴亚里士多德有关美德、幸福、实践智慧的伦理学思想,将可帮助人们厘清“美好生活”的内蕴,使其对美好生活的理解更加全面深刻:摒弃功利之心,培养良善道德,并积极践行实践智慧,方得真正之美好生活。

“Good life”is a core topic and an inevitable choice of the new era in which our country is becoming rich,prosperous and harmonious.However,its definition is still unclear.Aristotle,in his book Nicomachean Ethics,discussed the relationship between virtue and well-being,proposed the theories of practical wisdom in a constructive way,connected human wisdoms and human practices creatively,and considered the meanings and ways of achieving“good life”in a ductile manner.This paper delimits the connotations of“good life”based on the moral practices of the Chinese people,the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation,the domestic conditions of China,and Aristotle’s ethics on virtue,well-being and practical wisdoms.This paper argues that the achievement of“good life”should rely upon the cultivation of good morality and practical wisdoms,rather than utilitarian ideas.
