清末黎族相关问题研究——以《海南纪行》为中心的历史考察

Study on the Related Issues of Li Nationality in the Late Qing Dynasty——Taking The Travel Notes of Hainan as the Research Center

《海南纪行》是美国传教士香便文于19世纪80年代对海南考察之行的详细记录,书中对清末黎族及黎族社会的描述有许多是同时代的汉文史料所没有涉及的,因而具有重要的文献价值.以《海南纪行》为中心,结合其他参考资料,可以勾勒出清末黎族在舞蹈、鸦片吸食、玉米种植、黎汉通婚、饮食、黎族与山蚂蝗、家谱、野山茶、船型屋、体质、性格品德、文身工具、贸易等十三个方面的面貌.

The Travel Notes of Hainan is a detailed record by an American missionary Benjamin Couch Henry,who visited Hainan in the 1880s.In this book,the description of the Li nationality and the Li society in the late Qing dynasty contains many contents that are not covered in the contemporary Chinese historical materials.Therefore,it has considerable academic value.Taking The Travel Notes of Hainan as the center and combining with other reference materials,we can outline the 13 aspects of Li nationality in the late Qing dynasty,including dance,opium smoking,corn planting,intermarriage of Li and Han,diet,Li nationality and leeches,genealogy,wild tea,boat house,physique,character and morality,tattoo tools,trade,etc.
