Overview of the Intelligent Surface for 6G Communications

智能表面技术是6G潜在关键技术之一,可以明显提升通信系统的覆盖效果。本文基于智能表面的工作特点和在6G系统中的应用场景,分析了智能表面的控制理论。理论和实验研究表明,智能表面技术可以在降低部署成本的同时实现覆盖增强、波束赋形等多种功能。

Intelligent surface is one of the potential techniques for 6G communications,and significantly improves the coverage efficiency of the communication system.This paper analyzes the controlling theory for the intelligent surface based on the hardware characteristics and 6G communication scenarios.According to the theoretical and experimental researches,intelligent surface is able to realize various functions,such as coverage enhancement and beamforming,with relatively low deployment cost.
