20世纪80年代贵州作家凭借极具个性特色的创作如雨后春笋般崛起,并以丰硕的成果给全国文艺界带来了震撼性的影响,其中小说和诗歌成为当时贵州地域性的文化品牌,在中国文学史上留下了浓墨重彩的一笔,创造了20世纪80年代文学艺术领域的"贵州现象"。"贵州现象"代表了一种贵州本土的文化"态度""视点""立场",表现为一种本土文化精神主体性的建构。同时,"贵州现象"还意味着20世纪80年代的贵州艺术家们通过自身的艺术实践和探索,突破了"边缘"的区位弱势和局限,构建起属于贵州艺术家的审美话语空间,获得了与文化中心乃至世界展开对话的机会。

In the 1980's,Guizhou writers,with their unique creation,sprung up like mushrooms,and brought a shocking impact to the national literary and art circles with their fruitful achievements.Among them,novels and poems became the regional cultural brand of Guizhou at that time,leaving a strong mark in the history of Chinese literature and creating the"Guizhou phenomenon"in the field of literature and art in the 1980's."Guizhou phenomenon"represents a kind of local cultural"attitude","viewpoint"and"position"in Guizhou,which is manifested as the construction of the spiritual subjectivity of local culture.At the same time,"Guizhou phenomenon"also means that Guizhou artists in the 1980's,through their own artistic practice and exploration,broke through the regional weakness and limitations of"edge",built up the aesthetic belonging to Guizhou artists,and obtained the opportunity to have a dialogue with the cultural center and even the world.
