从追求真和理的角度理解中西医如何结合

Understanding the way of how to integrate traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in pursuit of reality and laws

本文从认识与实践的角度总结了中医学和西医学的特点,认为中医学是“求理”为主的学科,西医学是“求真”为主的学科。中西医结合就是要:用中医的“理”,指导、启迪求“真”;用西医的“真”丰富中医的“理”;推动对医学“真理”的发展。本文并指出中西医的结合存在混合、组合和整合三个层次,中西医的高层次结合有望为医学研究产生突破性成果。

Based on the way of the two disciplines how to understand medicine,the article concludes that traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is a discipline mainly seeking the medical laws and western medicine(WM)is a discipline mainly focusing itself on seeking the medical reality.Integrating TCM and WM should include:①seeking medical reality under the guidance of TCM;②improving medical laws with the help of medical reality of WM;and③pursuing the medical truth hand in hand like brothers.There are three-level integation of TCM and WM of the way,namely,low,middle and high levels;about the high level of integration of TCM and WM,namely holistic integrative medicine(HIM),will bring medical breakthroughs in the near future.
