摘要
政法类高校卓越法律人才培养目标的共同特点之一是强调法学教育的"国际化"。这与《国家中长期教育改革和发展规划纲要(2010-2020年)》及《大学英语教学指南》有共通之处。在此背景下,讨论适配卓越法律人才培养的大学英语课程设置具有重要意义。作者认为,卓越法律人才培养,不能仅靠一段时间、一门课程/模块、一类教师完成。对大学英语课程、法律英语课程、双语课程、全英课程及涉外法务实践课程进行深度整合、合理配置,是培养卓越法律人才成功的前提。
The author first summarizes the common characteristics of the cultivation goals of“international”Excellent Legal Talent Education and Training Program at domestic universities of political science and law.Integrating the features of those universities with the latest“Guidelines on College English Teaching”,the author proposes a preliminary framework for the Legal English Courses for Undergraduate Law Majors on the Background of“International”Excellent Legal Talent Education and Training Program.The author contends that the cultivation of“international”legal talent can not be achieved within one year,by one course or one type of teachers.On the contrary,it relies on a continuous study within four years and a holistic arrangement of college English courses,legal English course,other bilingual/English courses for law majors and the courses taught by law practitioners,such as international lawyers and the judges who sit on international cases in courts.
