This paper introduces the steering wheel shimmy problem when the vehicle speed is about 110km/h,through fault analysis and troubleshooting,the root cause is confirmed,then feasible countermeasures are developed according to the reasons,and the effectiveness of countermeasures is confirmed through vehicle test and verification,finally the steering wheel shimmy problem was eliminated when the speed was around 110km/h.
