摘要
华文教育是马来西亚华人维系族群认同,保持族群特性的重要途径。长期以来,华人社会的坚持和守护都是华文教育得以生存和立足的根本。但二战以来,华人社会内部出现了一系列对华文教育发展影响重大的变化。这些变化涉及众多领域,文章主要从华人认同、华教相关社团及华人人口要素三个方面阐述华社内部的具体变化及其对华文教育发展的影响。文章认为,虽然华社内部出现了多种不利于华文教育发展的变化,但华人守卫华教事业的决心并未发生根本变化。
Chinese education is an important way holding ethnic identity and maintaining ethnic characteristics.For a long time,the survival of Chinese education depends on the insistence and protection from Chinese community.While after World WarⅡ,some significant changes that related to Chinese education have taken place in Chinese community in Malaysia which relates to various aspects.This article will focus on the changing Chinese identities,Chinese associations and Chinese population on Chininese education and their impacts on Chinese education.This article holds that the determination that overseas Chinese had for protecting Chinese education never changes,although there are some unfavored changes to the development of Chinese education in Chinese community.
