This paper introduces the characteristics of the hollow sandwich composite,summarizes related common molding processes,including hand-forming,filament winding,vacuum-assisted molding,mechanical forming,etc.,expounds the application of hollow sandwich composite in rail transit,and looks forward to its application prospects.
