Application of 3D laser scanner in the superficial area of irregular objects

采用三维激光扫描仪可以快速获取物体表面点云数据。利用Geomagic Studio软件可对点云数据构建多边形模型,通过计算多边形模型的表面积实现物体表面积的计算。文中介绍了三维激光扫描仪结合Geomagic Studio软件用于不规则实体表面积计算的具体流程及方法,并验证了该方法的可行性。

The point cloud data on the surface of an object could be obtained quickly by using 3D laser scanner.Geomagic Studio software could be used to build the polygon model for the point cloud data,and the surface area of the object could be calculated by calculating the surface area of the polygon model.In this paper,the specific process and method of calculating the surface area of irregular solid with 3D laser scanner and Geomagic Studio software were introduced,and the feasibility of this method was verified.
