With the rapid development of automobile industry,the constant changes of various models have put forward higher requirements for the production lines of automobile body manufacturing enterprises.Error prevention is a means of using devices or management methods to reduce defects,which can largely avoid waste and improve production efficiency.Leakage welding of nuts,bolts,studs and parts is a common defect of body metal.This paper introduces the basic concept,types,development methods of fault prevention and typical cases of the application of fault prevention in manual and automatic body sheet metal parts.
