《黄帝内经》的翻译事业从1925年肇始,近一个世纪以来,已出现24部英译文本,分别以论文、选译本、节译本、编译本、转译本、全译本等形式问世,各具历史学和翻译学价值。从译者主体性的角度,根据译介文本的主要功能,可将24部文本划分为学术型、临床型和文化普及型3个类别,以历时性研究为经,以分类研究为纬,梳理和分析译介文本的历史价值及核心名词术语翻译特征,能较为全面地呈现百年《黄帝内经》英译史的面貌。

The translation of Huang Di Nei Jing(《黄帝内经》The Yellow Emperor’s Internal Classic)began in 1925.Nearly one century since then,there have been 24 English translation versions or introductory scripts published in the forms of full translation,shortened translation,collected translation,compiled translation and papers on academic journals.Each version has its own historical and medical values.This study takes the diachronic research as the longitude and categorization as the latitude.The 24 versions and scripts are thus to be categorized into three groups:academic,clinical and introductory.This paper analyzes the historical value and terminological characteristics of each version,presenting an overview of the English versions of Huang Di Nei Jing.
