Discussion on Language Planning of Traditional Chinese Medicine

通过对当前国情和中医语言研究动态的探讨,提出“中医语言规划”的学术概念和倡议。中医语言具有文化上的特殊性,需要国家层面的干预和管理。中医语言应逐步由历史语言状态转变为现代语言状态,在保持自身特色的前提条件下,积极与现代医学语言接轨,统一语词表达,形成规范的术语体系,并融入国际科学术语体系。

The article puts forward the academic concept and proposal of“Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)language planning”through the discussion of the current national conditions and the dynamics of TCM language research.The language of TCM has its particularity in culture,which urgently needs the intervention and management at the national level.The language of TCM should gradually change from the state of historical language to modern language.Under the precondition of maintaining its own characteristics,it should actively integrate with the modern medical language,unify the expression,develop a standardized terminology system,and integrate into the international system of scientific terms.
