This paper introduces the application of heat preservation and energy saving technology for 150 t ladle capping in Xuanhua Iron and Steel Co.Ltd.and expounds the background,thought,principle,process flow,equipment and effect of ladle capping technology.The technology can cover the ladle all the time during the service cycle of the ladle,reduce the radiation heat loss and achieve good results.
