Urban Waste Disposal is an important specialized elective course in municipal engineering,and practical teaching plays an increasingly prominent role in the teaching of this course.Taking recent hot topic"garbage classification"as an example,this paper expounds the design,implementation process,teaching effect and reflective suggestions of practical teaching of this course,and gives full play to the role of practical teaching in professional quality education to better meet training needs of applied talents.
